Mike McMurray English Comp I 4 September 2000 The Ranch Del Rancho affectionately referred to as The Ranch by the students of Moore High School Its a quiet rundown landmark of down town Moore The Ranch has bee right there since Moore was a small farming community The Ranch has stood the test of time Moores first chain restraunt complete with all of its original archiecture The Ranch happens to be contently located just next to MHS soccer stadium Most everyday my best friend Tray and myself would go over to the Ranch before going home after practice We would just chill and kill time before heading home My girl friend at the time Jamie worked there she would get there before we would every day and hook us up with free food I got to know the other workers pretty well too Such as the two hot chicks that would flirt with us every time we walked in Also my two friends Mark and Todd worked there too The owner who I hated with a passion was an independently wealthy jerk who considered him self Jamies sugar daddy This guy didnt care much for his customers every time we would park in the handicap spot he would call the police on me And on Friday nights after football games we would be kind of drunk and go hang out at the ranch and this guy would call the police on us again Lucky for us he was never around There was also an old lady that worked there She could not have been more than 40 years old but she looked as if she was about 70 because of massive drug abuse and smoking We always called her old lady she didnt seem to mind she saw herself as some kind of messed up mother figure We saw her this way too but in a Jerry Springer way This lady would sit and
