In the words of an old saying The best things in life are free In history Martine Luther King has been fought for liberty of Africa-American South Korea also has been fought in order to restore to their freedom by an aggressor nation A saying goes that God grants liberty and only to those who love it and are always ready to guard and depend it Do we love our freedom then why are we consistently misusing the meaning of freedom For a long time people had been tried to protect their freedom but some peoples right are still limiting when we look behind the faade Especially it is serious problem on the campus During my first day at DVC someone asked about my country where is your country why Koran pronunciation is too noisy to me why Korean eats disgusting food When they asked unpredicted questions I was struck dumb From that day I could not say anything in the class It made me feel so cheap and paltry Besides I was feeling hard done by in the class Even I could not participate in the class also I lost my confidence during the semester I do not think that it was a racial discrimination Indeed however it is something that happens to everyone on the campus I believe that colleges have to be responsibility to protect students who have a sorrowful heart from hate speech whatever they have special cultural peculiarity or social traits In addition I believe that colleges have to regulate from hate speech bad expression whether they intend to harm someone or not Not only that but colleges have to define the boundary of rule which words included hate speech Even though it is egotistical idea to make a request that it infringe on right of people who speak hate speech since people who suffer from hate speech also have same rights we have to protect from any violence ideas
