My full name is Jesus Alberto Morales Ortega I am an international student and I have been living in the United States since august 2010 My first language is Spanish and my second language is English I have been learning English since I moved to the United States Furthermore I have spoken Spanish my whole life Actually I am still learning English because every day I will hear new vocabulary so my vocabulary increases every time I hear a new word I would like to tell you about my experience with English and Spanish in accordance with my reading and writing in both languagesFirst I will talk about my Spanish experience according with the reading When I was in high school not here in the United States It was mandatory to take English classes at school however our teacher were not a native English speakers We did not talk at all in English the class was all the time in Spanish so we could learn that much in the class But when I moved to the United States I Finished my senior year and I had to spoke English all the time When I got here people could not understand me and I could not understand them either It was kind of hard also the first month of classes I had a lot of troubles with my classes I could not read much Furthermore I have been speaking English since august 2010 that my reading and speaking got better Now I am in college second semester and my reading have improved a lot I can read a book and understand most of it and if I do not understand some parts of the story I will look it up online a figure out what that word means With Spanish I have never have any problem with my reading however I do not like to read every time I have to read something in Spanish I
