Response to poem Out Out- This poem is about the story of how life is presented in a rural area It is also about the tragic death of a young boy who had his hand chopped off by a saw Words in this poem support the theory that this poem was set in the outback and not in the city A style of how Robert Frost writes his poems also suggests the fact that the setting is out in the bush and not in the city five mountains range on behind the other Line 5 The quote backs up the theory that the setting is in the outback Another factor is the way the storyline is presented about how the sister calling out Supper which later on led to the accident between the saw and the boy The story concluded on the lines of No more to build there And they since they were not the one dead turned to their affairs This is how the poem ended it poet leaves us with the decision in who we believe is the one to blame for this death After the first read the reader would perhaps conclude that it is the sister to blame for the death Yet if the call had not being so appealing the accident could have being avoided Yet also the boy would not have reacted in such a way like as if it was his first time to have seen food However there is a deeper level Other factors that may have lead to why it was the sister who had to make the call Yet other factors include of why was the boy who was at such a tender age working with a buzz saw
