The book I Know What You Did Last Summer was written by Lois Duncan and has 198 pages The copyright date is 1973 The story I Know What You Did Last Summer is about 4 kids who have an accident in the summer They are named Ray Barry Julie and Helen They are driving home on a road and hit a child on a bike They call an ambulance and drive away but the kid dies The next year Julie James gets a letter that says I Know What You Did Last Summer The boy who dies brother comes back looking for revenge He shoots Barry in the spine and paralyzes him and he pushes Helen out a window Barry lives but Helen dies Julie and Ray both get away safe The significance of the title I Know What You Did Last Summer is that the killer writes a note that says I Know What You Did Last Summer My first impression of Julie James was that she was smart She never was late to school got into the college she wanted to and she got good grades That is what I first thought of her She changed when she got a letter that said I Know What You Did Last Summer She then turned into a paranoid person Always being taking many precautions in every situation when she wouldnt even think about it before I Know What You Did Last Summer is a very memorable passage because when Julie gets this letter everything starts to happen That is why I chose this passage in the book I learned that dedication is the key to doing anything you want I liked this book because I like mystery books That is what I learned and why I liked the book
