The poem from Home and Away seemed to start off on such a nice soft note but it then becomes increasingly harsh Im not sure if I am using the correct words to properly describe it When I read the first few lines I thought this was going to be a feel good kind of poem But as I kept reading I became more and more confused After reading the chapter in the book and listening to the cd I would guess that this poem would be considered to be written in a Iambic or Trochee style When I read the poem the first time I thought that she was describing life in prison But after reading it through a few times I think she is referring to her life As you keep reading she just makes the situation or her life if that is what she is describing seem so horrible I can not help but feel bad for this person It seems like she is full of regrets She seems to be very cold and bitter I was very surprized when I listened to the poet read the poem also I had some problem with that real player in the middle of the poem her voice is not clear But when I listened to her read the poem her voice did not change much Her voice stays on kind of the same level through out the poem Parts of the poem seem to me to become very violent example of stanza VIII-Ghosts barge in and reshuffle the blood on the wall until it resembles a toolbit or a mother but the blood keeps pumping out I stab and stab because of a cruel word said the other day7-10 The words became very harsh but her tone when she read it aloud did not This is a depressing poem about someone very unhappy about her life she has gotten married but life is not
