China is a Communist Country How Sometimes people who dont understand much about China may wonder why China became a communist country Why the economy and the citizens are so restricted in China Today we will discuss about the beginning of communism in China Marxism was introduced in China when the New Culture Movement was resulting China just changed from monarchy to republic led by the Kuomintang The political party was organized by Sun Yat-sen the founder of the republic In the 1920s the economy and politics were weak and disordered Some people in the northern China were persuaded by the idea of communism and the Russians agreed to assist them economically and in military Afterwards the Chinese Communist Party was formed and they determined to reform China by communism to make the country a better place The new party grew stronger by persuading more people until World War II During World War II the Kuomintang Party joined forces with the Chinese Communist Party to defend against the Japanese After World War II a civil war began The Chinese Communist Party under the leadership of Mao Tsetung battled against the Kuomintang Party led by Chiang Kai-shek The war lasted less than a year and the Chinese Communist won a victory Afterwards most of the remnants in the Kuomintang party fled to Taiwan to settle and control the local area The Chinese Communist made its proclamation of the Chinese Peoples Republic on October1 1949 After 1949 the life of the Chinese Communist Party was taken up with serious disagreements over the countrys development The Communism was not suitable for Chinas development
