"You make good use of descriptive language, and you successfully share Elle’s background with the reader in an engaging manner. Your comma use should be revisited though. Commas aren’t needed in the phrase “place, stood, a.” Meanwhile, you’re missing a second comma in the sentence that begins “That’s when a.” There are also some parallel structure issues in sentences featuring lists, and revision is needed for phrases such as “her scheming minds.” It would also be a good idea to review your work and ensure that exactly one space appears between all sentences."
