Chill Factor A government experiment was taking place on an island This experiment was top secret It was heavily guarded by the armed forces It was time to shut down the lab but the experiment needed to be tested The general went in the lab and asked why was it not shut down The scientist said not to worry that all they needed was to test it one last time and they would still shut down by that night Everything was being run through a computer to see how the chemicals in this bomb would react The first result was just as the doctor had expected When they ran it to see how big an area it would affect it delayed The one working the computer said it would take about an hour before they would get the result Since they were pressed for time he decided to go on without this result Since his first prediction was right he figured that the prediction on the distance was also correct He sent his helper to start the test and told him to make sure everyone was about two hundred feet away This time his prediction was far from right The bomb was about to go off when the computer finally got the result and it was five thousand miles this bomb would affect It was too late to warn anyone The bomb exploded and wiped out eighteen soldiers The whole island was destroyed The only ones who survived were the general doctor and the one working the computer They returned to the US Here the general was tried and convicted to ten years in prison for the lives of his soldier Since the doctor was needed to try to complete the bomb he was not punished Ten years later the general was released He went out in search of the doctor Then he finally found the doctor at a restaurant where he was
