I remember everything like it was yesterday it was the summer after my freshman year of high school I was standing in line with my family waiting to enroll me into school While I was standing in line I noticed that my vision was getting blurry It happened out of nowhere I didnt know what and why it was happening At first I thought nothing of it so I let it go ignored it and never mentioned it to anyone it went away a few days later after the incident at enrollment That is until school started when it came back this time I couldnt ignored it when I was seeing two of everything and had to squint my eyes to focus While my vision was blurry in both eyes my right eye was swollen and bulging a little To say I never wanted to show my face at school was an understatement I couldnt look anyone in the eye while talking to them It was frustrating and tiring trying to keep eye contact with everyone Even today I still have problems with keeping eye contact with whoever I talk to My eye lids were drooping it looked like I was sleepy all the time In the middle of my sophomore year I stopped trying to have conversations with people knowing I couldnt give them eye contact to let them know I was listening to what they were saying I was in denial on how bad it was until one day I was talking with a friend and she just stopped talking to me and looked at me and asked Mercedes whats up with your eye while pointing at my right eye and with a look of disgust on her face All I did was sighed sat there and told her I have no clue what else could I say I had no clue what was wrong I wanted answers just as much as she
