The Genetic cause of the Mutation There isnt yet a definite genetic cause of mutation on AIDS or HIV because none of the scientists agree with it But some think that when the HIV virus enters to the blood cells it attacks the CD4 kind of cell in our bodies It kills the CD4 and also it can multiple the amount of the virus and attack the T4 cells When the T4 cells are contaminated they reproduce less cells making our bodies less possible in fighting against other sicknesses which are signs of symptoms In many cases when the HIV comes into our bodies it wont react until several years have passed therefore it means that it takes a while to find out that we have the disease Holm pg 4-5 Impact of Aids on Society AIDS is a monster in our world We can call it monster because AIDS only kills people Since we havent created a cure for the diseases AIDS will keep killing us Nowadays 1 out of 4 teens gets infected by HIV and if 1 out of 4 teens get it then imagine how many adults will get infected by the disease we can imagine that 3 out of 5 people can get the disease Around the world more than 40 million people are infected with the disease The amount of people infected will increase unless a cure appears to help and kill AIDS Holt 497 Introduction The purpose of this brochure is to inform the importance of HIV and AIDS This is made not only to show people how dangerous AIDS is but also how it can be spread and be transmitted It is specially made for the teens that dont know how dangerous is to have sexual activity This brochure will let people know that AIDS and HIV are totally different Holt In addition it will talk about the symptoms of the diseases a brief history
