Cloning Cloning The production of genetic copies and Clones A group of genetically identical organisms Ever since the belief that cloning was a possibility and especially since it has been developed it has been a major conflict in the ethical world of values There are many different pros and cons to this issue The pros to the coning of human beings are the ability to produce super humans will all but cease the production or further more of lab animals New medical methods will be thrusted into our new time era and we will have a better understanding of our past According to humancloningorg we will not have to worry about having to wait on a transplant list because it will not be needed Some say that with human cloning it may help us to figure out how the environment within the cells of the early embryo regulates gene function it may also help us to overcome genetic diseases by allowing researchers to turn off our bad genes and turn on our good ones It may allow us to cure AIDS Alzheimers MS and other life threatening illnesses They have also said that it may allow parents of a young child that have been fatally injured to be cloned should enough of their cells be recovered from the body I could help to grow organs that will be needed for transplant therapies and aid infertile people to have a baby Humans are sentient beings they are not made to be specimens Countries could use this method to there advantage by using it to clone their armies Another theory is that if humans can be cloned is that it makes them property that can be sold which is very inhumane If cloning is relied upon for reproduction and we lose the ability to cloned everyone will have the same genes and to reproduce would technically be inbreeding According to Greg Pences book Will Cloning Harm Humans
