Pins and Needles For centuries body piercing has been going in and out of style Ten years ago it was almost a crime to have anything but your ears pierced Needless to say things have come a long way in the past ten years You can not go anywhere without seeing someone with their tongue nose eyebrow or some other body part pierced The older generations find these piercing grotesque and sometimes offensive the younger generation however finds it to be the newest fad in self expression In body piercing there are many areas you can pierce some a little more personal than others With these piercing comes the initial shock from your parents pain the responsibility of cleaning it and the possibility of infection Most individuals that despise body piercing have their reasons perhaps because it may be harder to obtain a job with visible body jewelry Certain body piercing may make you come off as being irresponsible Most adults already have this impression about teens so a body piercing will only add fuel to the fire Some individuals consider piercing to be a form of self mutilation It is a very painful process and who would want to inflict that type of pain on ones self for the sake of fashion Infection is also a big risk with any piercing If the piercing is not properly taken care of then it will get infected Most peoples piercings tend to become infected however if the problem is not taken care of after the infection set in the infection can and will spread through out your body In very rare cases people have had body parts removed because an infection from a piercing took over their body Healing periods can also take a very long time depending on what you have pierced and the side effects of the piercing can be somewhat troublesome According to the internet site wwwvhorg
