Moses seems as though in the beginning of his service to God that he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time It seems as though he really doesnt want the job as The Lords messenger He tries to get out of it any way he can think of He just doesnt want the responsibility but as time passes he seems to change his tune and follows Gods every word When God calls Moses from the burning bush it seems as though Moses is just an innocent onlooker curious to see what is going on An angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire out of a bush He gazed and there was a bush all aflame yet the bush was not consumed Moses said I must turn aside to look at this marvelous sight why doesnt the bush burn up When the Lord saw that he had turned aside to look God called to him from the bush Exodus 32 He just happens to be passing by the bush and notices it burning It intrigues him and he turns to look The Lord may have thought that he saw it as something divine but in fact he did not know that God was there God had to call to him to get his further attention God called to him out of the bush Moses Moses Exodus 34 Moses did not reply Here I am Lord he just said Here I am God then goes on to explain who he is I am the God of your father the God of Abraham the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob So it makes it implying that Moses does not in fact know who God is or what is calling to him from the bush God then tells Moses that he intends to have Moses be his servant Which Moses doesnt seem to be to happy about this I will
