After the animals on Manor Farm drove Jones away and took over the farm Jones has been drinking in the pub all day long Jones did try to win the farm back from the animals but he did not succeed Mr Jones is not a pleasant and kind man at all He has an alcoholism problem He is also greedy and selfish and he always treats his animals badly He abuses his animals and he gives them just enough food to keep their bodies going With the horrible way that Jones treated his animals the Rebellion was bound to happen sooner or later One normal day Jones got back home from the pub as usual All drunk he forgot to feed the animals The animals were starving They couldnt take it anymore and thats how the Rebellion up-rose The animals broke free and started to break into the store-shed to get some food Mr Jones saw this happen and went down to the store-shed with other men to get hold of the animals The whipping was more than the hungry animals could bear They started to attack Jones and his men Jones was shocked he had never seen animals behave like this before The up-rise of the animals that they were used to thrashing and moltrading frightened them almost out of their wits They gave-up trying to defend themselves They ran for their lives leaving the farm behind During the time he was drinking at the pub he thought of a plan to get the farm back Jones and all his men with half a dozen others from Foxwood and Pinchfield were ready to attack They were all carrying sticks except for Jones who was holding a gun This plan was not successful because the animals were prepared and already had a plan of their own Jones and the other men were attacked by pigeons and kicked around by the larger animals The animals
