Buddha was one of the greatest human beings ever and his teachings have influenced the lives of millions It all started in his early life He began to learn and understand more as he was growing up His search for truths gained him knowledge which has been woven in the hearts of many His enlightenment is the reason why Buddhism even exists His teachings have brought many people to Buddhism Even after his death his words were passed on through doctrines and practices Buddha truly touched the hearts of many and changed the lives of many through his historic life Buddhas early life was unlike most peoples at those times He was born in Kapilavastu India Just inside of present day Nepal His birth name was Siddharta Gautama He was the son of a rich and powerful man who was a head of the Sakya warrior castle At his birth sages recognized that he would one day be a great and powerful man It was revealed that one day he would rule over a huge empire Even as a young child it was recognized that one day he would be a great and powerful man who would influence the lives of many As Buddha then known as Gautama grew up he began to mature and develop into a wise and compassionate man He showed early inclination to meditation He got married at a young age and left home One day after talking to an old sick man he was overwhelmed with conviction that the world was full of unhappiness and suffering He left his wife and child when he was 29 years old He journeyed out in seek of enlightenment as a wandering monk Even at a young age Buddha was wise beyond his years and was truly full of conviction to help others Buddha then began his search for truths A search to save the world from the suffering and pain that is seemed
