"Your first full paragraph does a great job of supporting your thesis statement, but the remaining paragraphs seem to stray off topic. Since you focus on what it means to take care of someone and whether T'Gatoi will be able to do so, each paragraph should discuss either how T'Gatoi will be able to take care of Gan or why she might choose to. The subsequent paragraphs do provide some evidence for the second point, but little is stated outright about T'Gatoi's acceptance of this role.
Your introduction should identify the work of fiction you're discussing and give some context about the story. Imagine that your audience is unfamiliar with the narrative and give enough information to get them up to speed with the story. Make sure to integrate context into the rest of the paper as well in order to support your thesis."
