Dangerous Conflicts When thinking of hunting game does humans come to mind In Richard Connells short story Most Dangerous Game he shows Rainsford in many conflicts Richard Connell describes many conflicts such as Rainsford versus the sea Rainsford versus Zaroff Rainsford versus himself Even today people have tremendous bouts against the sea First of all Rainsford battles the sea because of its raging waters and fierce winds For instance he falls off the boat and the sea is said to be slapping him in the face Also Rainsford worried about the sea dragging him up into the rocks What I felt was a -- a mental chill a sort of sudden dread wrote Richard Connell as Rainsford slipped his way into the furious sea Some people have someone hunting them in odd ways Next Rainsford fights for survival against General Zaroff who is hunting him For example Rainsford and General Zaroff discuss their differences in hunting Zaroff hunts humans and Rainsford thinks this is murder Another example is General Zaroff actually hunts Rainsford on Ship-Trap island Hunting Writes Connell of Rainsford from the short story Most Dangerous Game Great guns what you speak of is murder Many people talk to themselves to give them self encouragement Finally Rainsford mumbles words of motivation to keep himself ready and alive Firstly if Rainsford can keep himself together by talking to himself he can win the hunt against General Zaroff Secondly Rainsford decides not to stay by thinking to himself so he postpones the inevitable Richard Connell writes of Rainsford in Most Dangerous Game I must keep my nerve 19 Having fought against the sea General Zaroff and himself Rainsford must be one tough hunter Therefore in Richard Connells short story Most Dangerous Game he shows Rainsford in many harsh conflicts First Rainsford falls off a boat and the waves of the sea slap him in the face Second General
