Title Disbarments of Dangerous Arms Guns are some of the most dangerous things people can own Over 32000 people are killed every year by guns In the US alone 78 million people own or carry guns That is almost 40 percent of the US population Because so many people have guns and because so many people die from them the campaign against guns sparks major controversy All guns should be banned for everyone except those in law enforcement Guns kill thousands of people a year The violence brought from guns cause about 32000 tragic deaths In the US alone approximately 60 percent of all murder victims were killed with a gun That is about 12000 people 7000 more were injured and many were permanently disabled because of guns Guns kill over 10 children and teenagers every day For every one death from a gun two more people get hurt from it If guns were made illegal 32000 people a year will be saved If guns were banned 10 more kids and teens would still be walking today Because of guns 32000 families have to go through pain and suffering Firearm Facts Not only do guns cause violence and death guns can also be unconstitutional The Second Amendment in the US Constitution states A well regulated militia begin necessary to the security of a free state the right for people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed upon Though it says it is legal to bear and keep arms this was done out of security because the US had no permanent army at that time Because the US had no army it had to make sure citizens would be able to defend those opposing the US Since then the US has gotten an army and is presently under no severe attack therefore it is legal to ban guns because the Constitution only refers to the fact that the US
