Come back here Bitch Eminems songs contain these types of foul and demeaning lyrics that perpetuate sexism among young people In todays rap lyrics it is becoming more evident that sexism is on the rise Popular rap music has contributed to perpetuating sexism among young people by desensitizing its fans to the rise of sexism through repeated verbal and visual abuse towards women making sexism a universal theme in todays rap music The most notorious of the rappers is Eminem with the most outrageous lyrics about drugs death and most of all sexism One of Eminems songs titled Kim is about him and his wife having arguments Eminem promotes sexist views by calling women by the word bitch especially his wife This may not be true in his real life but the life that the public knows and admires is what counts for society Eminems fan club is not only composed of males but a large portion of them is in fact made up of females They seem to think that Eminems attitude and attractiveness is justification for his sexist remarks These females overlook their inferior position proposed by Eminem and buy his CDs giving him more opportunities to expand the sexist movement of today It is not only Eminem that has turned our radio waves into constant streams of inequality The majority of todays rappers promote the same kind of sexist views by calling women names such as bitch and ho A recent song by Ludacris explicitly states Ive got hos in different area codes These types of songs are constantly being released to the public and very few people are protesting their negative impact on our society and on women Women have come a long way since the womens movement and today they are rapping along with the greatest of the rappers while making millions with their songs It is sad to know that they make their millions by demeaning women in the
