Within the four-women structure, start working with your evidence to make sure the focus is on analysis, rather than plot summary or detail. Assert control over the source material by considering if each direct quote is needed in full, verbatim, or if paraphrase or summary will be more efficient (as in recounting the conversation toward the bottom of page 1); for those quotations you choose to keep, embed them directly into the text, leading in with an analytical statement.
