"You should italicize book titles. Place punctuation inside quotation marks in American English. You need an apostrophe in a possessive form: “Cooper’s.” It is good practice to avoid contractions in formal writing. Cooper did not “branch” the topic of war. He “broached” it. You should place a comma after “Westchester Country,” and indicate its location. You mention an “element that Cooper enriched his novel.” This makes no sense. Cooper enriched the novel *with* this element. You omit “of” in “beginning of chapter 8," and you should not capitalize “chapter.” You can avoid repetition by writing “the character Leatherstocking, who was used … .” You use the word “uninhibited” when you mean “inhabited.” This is a good essay, but you need to work on the details of your writing. Run a grammar check to identify issues, correct them, and learn from them. Read through your work several times and find ways to make it better each time."
