"You've done a great job identifying the contrasting traits and values of Cordelia and her sisters. However, the essay could use some reorganization to help with clarity. When you contrast the characters, you jump back and forth rapidly between Cordelia and her sisters, and the plot points feel shoehorned in between. For each scene or behavior you are analyzing, remember that there are three points that you are communicating to your audience: the overall action of the scene, Cordelia's actions, and the sisters' actions. Separating these three elements within each paragraph would go a long way toward clarifying your essay. Consider this format: "In this scene, this happens. Goneril and Regan do this, which shows this characteristic. Conversely, Cordelia does this, exhibiting this trait." Also, when describing the action of a scene, be sure to give the appropriate context so someone who is unfamiliar with the play can understand what is going on, but avoid going into unnecessary detail. There are a handful of small grammatical errors and some awkward sentences that should be addressed as well before submitting."
