Friends or Not Every day billions of people turn on a television and watch it for about two to four hours For those two to four hours males and females alike are being fed information about everything On basic cable there are about fifty to sixty channels to chose from The possibilities are endless Anything you want to watch is probably on some station Most shows on these days lure males in by using sexual innuendoes Even shows that are big with the younger audiences have been accused of using risqu subjects that could be detrimental to the well being of the children watching Now we are so used to seeing a person getting killed or people cussing all the time that it has become second nature to us We do not even give it a second thought anymore The television show Friends depicts how society is today The show has pretty girls so men will watch it promotes lesbianism and they have sex whenever and with whomever they want to A disturbing amount of shows these days are aimed at males Producers found out that if they make a tv show that has a hot girl wearing practically nothing guys will watch Friends is not much different They casted pretty women to appeal to the male audience and threw in some good looking guys for good measure Society today puts an overwhelming amount of emphasis on the outward appearance of people instead of the inward appearance There is not a show on television that casted ugly girls and guys If they did sadly enough people would not watch it Society is telling us through the show Friends that you have to be pretty to be somewhat successful in life These days gay rights are a big issue Now with so many celebrities coming out of the closet being gay is now okay Many shows on Friends have been centered on Ross ex-wife slash lesbian
