Marriage is a commitment two people make for the rest of their lives It is all about the understanding and the love for each other Marriage is the strongest and the most respected relationship between a man and a woman It binds them strongly together sharing the same life interests house and children They also share their good times and stand by each other in bad times However unless one is careful when choosing the person who is going to share his life this joyful event might end up with divorce which is one of the toughest and most painful events that might face a family especially when there are children involved However divorce doesnt always have to be bad In some cases it is the only way to live in peace It occurs when the husband and wife feel that a separation is the only way to put an end to their problems Children of divorced parents usually face many problems because both parents usually get busy with their own problems that they forget all about their childrens needs So the children simply get lost in all the mess and are left to deal with the situation as best as they can Divorce has negative effects on children because If children are deprived of one of their parents they are more likely to have lower self-esteem and psychological damage Sosnick 1 So some children of divorced parents have behavior problems such as depression low self-esteem actions and poor school performance They often feel abandoned and unwanted and some of them also feel that they are responsible for their parents getting a divorce They are forced to play grown-ups and deal with the situation by their own Children need to grow up in a stable house with both their parents They also Have the right to be treated as important human beings with unique feelings ideas and desires and
