I am so happy Im going to get an A I know what to do The video How to Get an A by Studying Smart Not Hard gave me many ideas and suggestions on how to get the best out of myself in college I learned many techniques that will help me stay organized and plan right The three basic techniques are using a variety of study methods taking good notes and reading textbooks early The more knowledgeable I am in all areas of the subject the easier it will be to apply what I have learned There are many methods of studying One should always get off to a good start in any class It is extremely important to not get behind Reviewing and rewriting notes the same day they are taken is very helpful These tips will help to remember the material because the topic will be fresh in the mind One should go through written notes and textbooks and highlight the areas that are difficult to remember Go back and study those highlighted areas many times When reading pay particular attention to headings lists and words in italics or bold print During class dont try to write everything down A good note taker records only major points numbers dates and key words In some cases it is best to write headings and note key ideas with examples Arrive to class early and stay late as the most important information is often given at the beginning and end of the class Taking good notes as well as rewriting and reviewing them often will offer concrete guidance during review time Reading and reviewing your textbook assignments before they are discussed in class will help one to better understand what the professor is talking about This allows the student to listen closely and take more effective notes In conclusion the video has helped me learn many techniques to use throughout my college career
