I think 4th and 5th graders would be interested in the Harry Potter series because although it has violence in it I think that age level should be able to handle it If any kids younger than that have read it or want to read it I would not recommended it because they just might think that the violence is real and that the wizardry is real Although I dont think it is a good book for younger children I think that the media and newspaper writers are going just a little to far I dont think its really bad as they make it out to be The writers and media make even older kids parents think twice about buying the book so there kid can read it I think that the banning from school and other places is also stupid because if a person was to read it they would usually know that most of the stuff in the books can not happen and if they dont they are probably to young to understand what the book is saying anywayJK Rowling Joanne Kathleen grew up in Chepstow Gwent She wrote her first book when she was six years old it was a story about a rabbit called Rabbit When she left chepstow for college she went to Exeter University and had one full year course in Paris After she graduated she eventually moved to London working at Amnesty International doing research on human rights abuses in Francophone Africa She originally thought of Harry Potter and started writing about him when she was on a train in London Every chance she got from then on she would go to the caf and write a little bit more about Harry Potter Joanne moved to Portugal to teach English Not to long after she got married became pregnant but she still continued to write in the cafes When her baby was born her book was finished
