Almost every culture has the slogan that says something similar to The children are our future This is exactly what Hitler thought when he created the Nazi youth organizations The purpose of youth organizations in general is to take children in support them teach them valuable skills make them part of a greater whole and give them purpose and direction in their life A general human instinct is the need for acceptance Everyone wants to be part of a group that they can be identified with These different groups that people are associated with act as an extended family Youth groups give young people the chance to break outside their everyday family bonds and come into contact with others that share the same interests as them The like interests form a bond between the children and they become a whole just like a family All organizations hold leadership as a key component With leadership comes authority and respect In an organization it is usually necessary to work very hard for the organization in order to achieve a position of leadership With this hard work and commitment comes the strengthening of the cause This is a theory used in every day business in the United States Whoever sells the most property wins a trip to some exotic paradise Since everyone wants to get that trip everyone works harder than usual This results in the advancement in profit for the firm as a whole This very simple theory worked wonders in the Nazi Youth organizations Every child wanted to become a leader because of the obvious benefits In order to become a leader you had to be willing to work the hardest and be the most committed to the cause This cause and effect relationship had much to do with its enorm ous success Each member had the responsibility of abiding by Nazi principles every
