"You have some strong ideas about Australian culture and your essay raises some good points about how entire cultures can be stereotyped. However, the paper seems to waver back and forth on whether Red Dog accurately portrays Australian culture. Several sentences take one stance and are followed by a sentence that takes the contradictory stance, with no transition or explanation. Consider making a list of what the novel does and doesn't get right and separating those two categories into their own paragraphs. Take your time with each subject and avoid the temptation to jump between them."
