Lord Byron was not only just an average poet as people of his time thought he was Byron was a celebrity for his stardom was rising every time He was very sexually active he attracted many young girls and ladies because of his good looks He inherited his fathers property at a young age Byron would write about society most of the time especially about his feelings on sexuality women and society in general But he also talked about nature for he is one of the best that puts him in the list among the great poets of the Romantic era Byron not only spend his time writing how he felt he let the action speak his emotions for itself One such example is when he volunteered as a soldier to help fight Greeces independence from Turkey He got caught by an illness and died But Byron never had an immature image even though he made some wrong choices in life Byron loved life in his own definitions Byrons poetry is about society and nature But he has a talent of combining both of those elements to create an exquisite work of art One such example can be seen in The Prisoner of Chillon Here he describes images of the prisoner Bonnivard being locked up and Byron gets out the message that being imprisoned for what you believe is wrong He was totally against that idea In this poem it is quite pessimistic and sad His type of literature is famous that today we have created an element of his literature called the Byronic Hero Byronic Hero is very idealistic and pessimistic in the heros state of being Can be rebellious and religious at the same time This type of character is Bonnivard Byronic Hero can be seen in Childe Harolds Prigrimage and Manfred Byronic Hero is described in poetry when Byron tries to present the downfall or the characters lowest point in
