Introduction In this lab we will try to compare the affect on performance of three different types of feedback which were constant feedback where precise feedback is given on every trial relative feedback where general feedback is given every other trial and bandwidth feedback where feedback is given only when the target is missed by more than a given amount Review of Literature Feedback is information given to performers about the proficiency with which they move whether it is Intrinsic Feedback received during and after the execution of a movement by the performer themselves or Extrinsic Feedback received after the movement is completed usually by coaches and teachers Constant Feedback involves the actual number of trials that receive feedback so basically every movement you make will result in some sort of feedback Relative feedback is a percentage of the trials that receive feedback This is done when it appears that the student had improved their learning of the task Basically the performer doesnt need as much feedback because they are now aware what has to be done to improve Lastly bandwidth feedback involves the presentation of precise error only on those trials in which a preset criterion of accuracy is not met When the criterion is met only a general statement referring to this success is given Method 1 The class had to divided into three groups groups A B C 2 We performed a task in which we throw a shuttle which was performed blindfolded 3 Each subject had to undertake the task and each subject had 6 trials 4 When all subjects had undertaken the task the session was over 5 All scores for all groups must be recorded 6 Once all scores were gathered the trial means had to be calculated all the scores for each individual trial divided by the number of subjects 7 Therefore there will be 9 trial means 8 The trial means for each trial
