Full Ride Recruits In most colleges they recruit many players out of high School from around the country to come play on there college team But for some colleges they want those recruits so bad that they give them whatever they want in order for them to want to come to that college And that means full rides at some schools In my paper I will discuss the pros and cons of being a full ride recruits Sometimes it isnt all what it is cracked up to be Being a full ride recruit means that you have everything paid for and done for you There are many pros and cons of being a full ride recruit When you first come to college it is suppose to be a learning experience that you can grow from But when you have everything done for you how are you suppose to grow from your mistakes You cant Many recruits have all there classes picked out for them so they dont have to stand in line to register for a class and come to find out that they have to crash that class in order to get in Not the full ride recruits they are in whatever class their coach put them in They really dont get the chance to be able to pick out those fun classes that they want to take in order to get their degree in four years They really dont have too much of a normal life because they have to live by the rules of what ever their team wants them to do You might get everything you want and have it paid by the school but in return you dont get to learn ev erything like a normal college student does in the beginning In my opinion there should not be full ride recruits Many students try so hard to get into a college of their dreams and once they get
