Would you let that someone that you love suffers for an incurable disease Now more people talks about if assisted Suicide is this ethical or immoral Euthanasia also known as mercy killing occurs when a doctor provides the means by which a person can take his or her own life This assistance is one of the most debated issues today in society followed by abortion Physicians are frequently faced with the question of whether or not assisted suicide is ethical or immoral Although assisted suicide is currently illegal in our country it is still often committed The term comes from the Greek expression for good death Now this short definition is a cause of debates all over the world Doctors politicians religious leaders lawyers and general public argue over the legislation that would allow or forbid euthanasia There are only two countries which permit such activity these are Netherlands and Belgium and the state of Oregon in the United States I believe that this practice should be legal in all the countries and that the governments should make a conjunction of laws strictly analyzed in order no to be used for evil purposes Should people be forced to stay alive Should people who suffer from pain and are hooked up to machines in order to stay alive have the rights to choose take his own life However in my point of view living in constant pain and knowing that there is no cure coming would make me choose the first option I dont think I would like to find myself in a position where I had no control over my body The way I see it under strict laws euthanasia should be legalized because it is inhumane to allow people to continue suffering when they request release by rapid and painless termination of life Patients frequently suffer agony from pain that is uncontrollable Administration of death is the only effective release
