September 11 2001 was an unforgettable memory and five months later Chicago is remembering this horrific event In downtown Chicago we have an exhibit dedicated to the Twin Tower attack In February I went down to see the exhibit and I definitely cannot describe my experience in one word I have mixed feelings between confusion and sadness I think I was expecting to see art work projects and perhaps sort of a replay of the attack The artwork and projects I thought would have been done to show how people dealt with the attack My expectation was pretty much not at all right In the exhibit there were many pictures Every wall was covered with pictures of the attack and even clothes lines hung out across the room with an enormous amount of photos Every photo contained a different part of the attack Meaning they all caught different views and expressed different feelings For example there was a yellow colored picture that expressed ones feelings on the viewers taking pictures of the scene It said something along the lines of that taking the pictures of the attack you can not capture the actual horror or feelings of those who were in it It also says how people are viewing the attack as tourist attraction This one picture just basically is questioning and reminding everyone that the attack was not for an attraction it killed many lives and in no way can someone capture the real feeling of the attack Basically the exhibit was not what I expected It had many pictures that captured a different mood or scene The yellow colored picture was the most different out of all that caught my eye It mainly stuck out of the rest because it made people re-think their actions and responses to the attack Over all the exhibit downtown was an eye-opener and can not be described in one word
