Once in nineteen eighty four there was a community swimming party inAshkum Illinois All of the children in the neighborhood went to theparty They all had to get showers and the pool had to be cleaned beforethey could get in The owner of the pool turned on the jets and openedthe openings that would let the dirty water out and keep the clean waterin She also went and got in the showerWhen the owner got into the locker room she seen that the water was alight brown color She just thought that because the water in the poolwas being cleaned the water in the restroom was getting dirty She gotin the shower and got cleanedWhen all of the children were done gettingcleaned and dressed in their swim suits she allowed them to get in Thewater was still getting cleaned but she knew it wouldnt bother any ofthe children She also got in Five minutes later she blew the whistlebecause she noticed that one of the clear screens in the vent that shewas near was out She had to go and get it cleanedShe finally came back from the back room and turned the jets off Thenshe got in and tried to replace the screen The water was still comingout so she had to wait a few minutes She went to the back room to put asuit on because there was no water circulation and she knew she couldntfloat When she got out all of the children were standing near the gatewith a look of suprise She looked at the water in the pool and it wasred She asked if someone got in and everyone said NO Then she lookedagain and the water had bumps in it She wondered what was going onFinally she called the authorities so they could check out what wasgoing on The authorities used nets and figured out that it was humanhands All of the children looked down at their hands
