For this information report I interviewed my friend Nicole Jackson 21 years old I thought she would be a great person to interview because I knew she loves reality TV and is an avid watcher so the conversation would be insightful and she would have a lot to talk about She was also a great person to interview because she has been able to see how reality TV has evolved over the years and I was interested in hearing her opinion on the negative and positive aspects in reality TV During this interview something that surprised me was that Nicole the interviewee was really up front about her feels towards reality TV Going into the interview I knew she liked reality TV and we has friends have many discussions about current shows but I thought she might be a little reserved about her feels of these shows Maybe a little ashamed and guilty she liked shows with over the top plots shows that have been known for being degrading to women and that have tried to portray reality as something less than the truth But no she was out right and clear about her claims its just for entertainment anybody who actually thinks these shows can reflect our culture needs a reality check She seems not to take reality television to seriously she understands its purely for entertainment the producers of this shows are just making programming people want to watch And just because its reality TV doesnt mean it is reality She also went into talking about how now some reality shows arent just trash TV there are some shows out there portraying real life Nicole named some shows like Project Runway a fashion contest show on Lifetime and The Little Couple a series on TLC that follows the lives of a husband and wife who are little people trying to start a family We also discussed how reality TV is changing and expending
