The couple Jake Kathy has been married for 33 years They have two kids that are in college and live separately now There are both working in good health and live a good lifeThey are in Stage six families in later lifeIt was a very nice interview and I enjoyed it I never met the couple before Even though I did not know them they were very open and articulated with their answers so I could understand a lot about their marriage and life together It was easy to talk with them and feel very comfortable in their presence Jake was funny quiet and very patient Kathy likes to talk she gives long answers she is very wise and quick to answer and give details They seem to love each other and compliment each other in various things They have many common interests likes same age same profession and same desire to learn more and to explore new things Kathy is more artistic and emotional Jake is more practical and stable He is the fun guy she is the smart girl When they first met Jake was attracted by her beauty Kathy by his character he was a leader and very responsible man This first attraction led to a long-term friendship then dating relationship and now a marriage that has lasted for 33 yearsIn the beginning like all the marriages they came across a lot of challenges problems and difficult decisions Some of the first issues in the first years of marriage were having a home and having kids Jake wanted to make money to be secure financially before they decided to have children Kathy did not care about money she only wanted to have kids because she loves them After discussion they agreed to have two kidsMost of the crisis or conflicts they had were because Kathy comes from a family with a lot of problems and difficulties She did not have
