When I was eight years old I learned a good lesson a very hard way It was painful but when I look back on it it was funny I was not paying attention to what was going on around me I was just trying to stay warm It was very cold out Therefore I had on a big fluffy coat It was about 730 we were going to an auction There was no more parking in the lot so we parked on the street and walked The wind was blowing so I pulled my arms in to my jacket and covered my face I could only see the back of my moms head I would do this anytime I could not get warm While we were walking my mom and dad were talking to each other I was just walking and all of a sudden I tripped and fell on my face Usually when you fall you reach out to catch yourself but mine were in my jacket I just started to cry Well I guess my parents werent paying attention to me I believe if they were they would of stopped and helped me up They didnt realize that I fell to they got about three yards ahead of me If it wasnt bad enough I could not get my arms out because I was crying so much My mom says that I was rolling around like a chicken with its head cut off Overtime they talk about it and all I can think about is I have fallen and I cant get up From that moment on I have not pulled my arms into my shirt or jacket I am always afraid I will trip and no one will help me up They would just leave me to roll around on the ground Therefore the lesson that I have learned is to be conscious with what is going on in front
