1 Previously I had been attempting to create a user interface for the program that could run through Windows I had to drop this idea because I was not familiar enough with the code involved and the way they are to be written 2 From my standpoint the program is almost complete The basic template for the functions that I use are complete They can therefore be implemented to add delete and use the mathematics functions in the main program So far in the program I have included about half of my book notes in the program 3 The only problem that I encountered was the attempted Windows user interface I have not encountered any other major problems I merely encounter common compilation errors as I write the code 4 Instead of having a Windows user itnerface I will definitely be creating a program that runs through DOS This should not pose much of a problem since I am familiar with sufficient code required to write programs in DOS 5 I should not be anticipating any major problems in the future I am not expecting to attempt any other innovative ideas like the WIndows interface The greatest problems that I should encounter are the compilation errors 6 Compilation errors are comon errors such as incorrectly written code missing lines or symbols etc They can be corrected as I write code and have no other solutions other than not making the errors in the first place 7 Since the last journal entry I have completed basic templates for the functions required in the program as described above I believe the program to be a little more than half done
