There is one individual who comes to mind when I hear anti-personality disorder and that is an individual who I went to school with This individual has been in trouble with the law since he was 13 years old He has been arrested for burglary assault and numerous times for disturbing the peace These continuing run in with the law are symptoms of the pervasive disregard and violation of the rights of others In school he was constantly lying to the teachers about being late and never doing his homework The first criteria for a anti-social personality disorder is as indicated by three of more of the following symptoms Failure to conform to social norms deceitfulness impulsivity or failure to plan ahead irritability and aggressiveness reckless disregard for the safety of selfothers constantly irresponsible and lack of remorse His inability to ever have enough time to do his homework fits the criteria for not planning ahead as well as consistent irresponsibility He was involved in constant fights while he was in school with me over nothing any normal individual would hit someone for He would get mad if you beat him in anything in gym and you could expect him to be waiting for you after class if you did This is definitely a sign of being irritable and aggressive which is another symptom which is met for anti-social personality disorder This individual also decided one day to wear a dress to school because he knew that our principal would kick him out for the day if he did so He did wear the dress and he was told to take it off upon refusal he was put in In School Suspension This is another symptom or not conforming to social norms He was in school with me for the last time in 9th grade he
