MY PERSONAL LEARNING STYLE There are many elements that influence the learning process of an individual Knowing ones learning style could dramatically benefit the incorporation of an individuals knowledge base while studying In Discovering Your Personal Learning Profile I have discovered my personal learning style by examining a series of questions What is my peak and valley learning times Do I learn bottom up or top down Where am I located in the four learning quadrants and What are my personal intelligences I became aware of my most beneficial and influential learning style by examining those questions TEST I Your Peak and Valley Learning Times This test measured the best time of the day my senses are heightened and my learning ability at its peak for the absorption of information It also made me aware of worst times to try to attempt learning One of the best times for me to learn is after 1000 in the morning until my lunch hour and a few hours before dinner Ive discovered through experience that attempting to study or read after a meal brings my senses to a relax state This results in a low energy state for studying In the past Ive also encountered that I am able to read and learn at least a half an hour before I go to bed if the material interests me Theres instances where I found myself beginning to study around 900 in the evening through 500 in the morning Although my learning peaks seem inconsistent Ive found that they are several hours before or after a meal Because of my schedule my study or learning times will be scheduled during the afternoons and early evenings followed by a light dinner These times are the most beneficial for peak learning process TEST II Do You Learn Bottom Up or Top Down This was an interesting test assessing my approach to learning Before beginning the test my
