During the 1900s every decade changed massively but in my opinion the most interesting changes began in the 1960s From our grandparents to our parents to our generation times have changed a lot Fashion eras and fads and dos and donts were everywhere Im just letting you in on the highlights of it all Wild and reckless These two words can pretty much sum it up The youth of the world began to see that nothing could hold them back from being individual They started wearing clothes that no one would criticize because they were too fancy Hippies took the world by storm Cut-offs bell-bottoms and mini-skirts the works The older than young but younger than old crowd would wear cropped sleeved dresses just below the knee and high-heeled shoes always a favorite of American women and silk stoking Men never change Still suits and shirts and hats Thats not to say that boys were a little interesting Boys wore bell-bottoms and casual shirts Girls wore dresses or bell-bottoms and peasant tops These peasant tops were embroidered with flowers and plants They gathered at the top Everything went flower power Cars rooms shirts pants shorts shoes hair and people The mini-skirt was treasured and adored buy almost every girl America plunged headfirst into an individuality tide pool Different fads would come in and out thinkquestorg In the 1970s bell-bottoms came to their most popular point Also much confusion arose about hemlines How long did they have to be or how short can they go Polo-neck sweaters hipster trousers platform shoes headbands and shirts with three-quarter length sleeves were the fads The economic depression left many people unemployed therefore bizarre clothing started to pop up This started the punk era Mohacs chains padlocks patched jeans the color black and ear piercing aroused Men would usually wear their hair in a porcupine look and some women wore their hair in Mohacs Many aggressive looking outfits
