Run-on sentences such as the ones that begin “In 1926, Hitler” and “They were all between” should be revised for clarity and to improve the flow of your writing. The title of a book should be italicized, and standard practice is to italicize the first appearance of a foreign word to indicate its foreign nature. Terms such as “World War Two” and “the Allies” (in the context of the two world wars) should be capitalized along with the beginning of a sentence and the name of a political party. Meanwhile, a term such as “loyalty” should not be capitalized in the middle of a sentence. Review is needed to ensure that a space is consistently inserted before an opening parenthesis. Your work would look neater if you consistently used either single or double quotes instead of switching between them, and in British English, the comma should come after a closing quotation mark."
