What toys are available for toddlers to take apart and reassemble a ring stack toy for example Legos Foam Building Blocks Plastic Ring Stack Alphabet Building Blocks Box with holes for you to put different shapes into Triangle Square Circle What features seem to make these toys attractive to children The main feature that I would say that attracts these toys to children is their bright colors and their colorful patterns The children are instantly attracted to the toys because of this they love to stare off into colors that catch their eyes Once they start playing with the toys though they are attracted by the textures such as foam or the bumpy plastics of the legos or even the wood from the toy blocks these are what keeps the children playing with the toys And children at that age especially boys are interested in building things and making them come crashing to the ground as well What other toys are available for toddlers to play with that promote gross and fine motor development They other toys that I observed were an indoor jungle gym this promotes their gross motor skills and a bunch of toy household items I saw almost a full kitchen there was a play oven with play food and a play sink and many other items like play vacuums and play phones all of these promote their development by teaching them life experiences There were also puzzles and old clothing and many action figures and Barbies Why are these toys appropriate for this age group These toys were appropriate for their age range because children at the ages of 2 3 and 4 are starting to get involved in such activities as pretend play and they like to get involved with jumping around and just creating their own fun from whatever they find I really thought the way this room
