We were made to watch a documentary entitled Slow Poisoning of India The video focuses on the effects of pesticides to the lives of the Indians The documentary also emphasizes that India is the largest pesticide user in the world Pesticides are substances that aids in destroying or controlling pests to minimize its damage Pesticides may come in different forms depending on the type of pests they are trying to control There are pesticides used at home to control or even kill cockroaches bugs and other pests There are also pesticides that are used by farmers to care the crops they planted This is what Im focusing on this paper the pesticides used by farmers and how it affects the lives particularly the health of the people In the very first place pests should be destroyed because it has harmful effects not only to the crops but also to us as well When our crops were attacked by pests then it will lessen the crop production causing the farmers to have a low harvest in that specific period When there is less in crop production there is also less supply in the market causing the crops to have higher price than the usual Pests are considered silent-killers to the crops because in a short period of time they can damage hectares of plantation The reasons stated above are the aims of pesticides Newtons third law of motion that states In every action there is an equal but opposite reaction is very applicable in Indias situation Pesticides are very common in the community Farmers spray pesticides to destroy pests that are obstacles to the production of crops They use pesticides to make the ripening of fruits faster It increases the vintage of crops Pesticides also prevent the spread of disease because it kills disease-carrying pests like flies Here comes the newtons law with the beneficial things brought by the pesticides corresponding harmful effects arises The plants
