Rose For Emily 1 Discuss the point of view The point of view is first person however the story takes place in different generations and the we from years ago is not the same we in other times in the story It appears that the whole town is the narrator The stories and tales about Ms Emily and her experiences all being told by individuals of the small connected town I picture a place about the size of Mayberry From Any Griffith and everyone is within hearing range from one end of the town to the next There is a lot of emphasis placed how all the women are being busy bodies into each others business especially Ms Emilys and when the revelation is made at the end of the story all of their questions are answered and they have nothing else to question I can get a visual of them all walking to their homes one behind the other several side by side a few lagging behind all in a quiet somber with expressionless looks on their faces They arrive at their homes walk inside and the doors are shut No more gossip to be carried on with no more assumptions no reason to get out of bed As we discussed in our last meeting I believe the narrators in Rose isare the townsfolk More specifically the women of the town Obviously the narrator consist of more than one person because it seems to know an awful lot about a lady whom they know nothing aboutThe final story that we are told is a compilation of many different stories told at many different times It ties together at the end when they find the strand of hair and they need not explain it any further
