ok this is a compare and contrast paper about Lockes theory on the good will of people and hobbes theory on how people are mean and untrustworthy i used examples to represent their diffrent theories formthe film Les Miserables its a pretty good movie and you should go watch it if u haventespeciallly if your going to use this paper just to get some more background on it and so u can tweak the paper to however u feel it should be also it hasa n example at the end of whos theoryt hat I fit in and a lil personal tid bit about how and why i fit into lockes theory just get rid of that part and put in a little tidbit of your own In the film Les Miserables Jean Valjean the police inspector and other characters showed characteristics describing two theories Hobbes theory was that people were naturally mean cruel and unjust and if presented with the chance to do harm that benefits them they would do it Lockes theory is that humans are naturally good at heart reasonable and moral Jean Valjean shows example of Hobbes theory at the very beginning of the film When the bishop lets Jean in gives him food and a bed to sleep in then Jean wakes up in the middle of the night and steals the bishops silver and knocks him out Another example of Jean showing
