Salem Mass was a very small and unpopulated community with one thousand habitants In 1962 many people were trailed as witches because of a small out break that know one knew how to cure Evidence was not accurate in the trials and would cause over nineteen deaths People who were affected by this strange disease were within the ages of nine to twenty years of age Many of theses symptoms in todays society can be diagnosed and or cured Many of these women that were on trial were just ordinary women that had shown some dislike in the way things were done or just did what was expected of them and still were wrongly accused of a crime that had no really evidence to prove it even existed Many children were affected by these strange symptoms of being possessed In Salem there had only been 6 cases of possessed girls Some of those girls that showed symptoms of being possessed were Betty Parries who was the first one to be possessed by witches Abigail Williams Ann Putman jr Mercy Lewis and Elizabeth Hubbard These girls started t show symptoms spontaneously after one another Betty Parries was the first one and every doctor that her parents brought her too they had no clue on how to treat her or the others Betty was asked many questions about if it were a witches spell Or even if the devil had come to talk to her Many people believe that she had told them what they had wanted to hear that she was indeed possessed by witches Therefore as the number of children possessed increased the more people there was to blame The girls had told the adults the names of people that they had seen in their out of mind lapses day dreams The accused were all ways shown in a ball of light like a ghost like image All accused were sent to
