Was this book good Yes I thought that it was really good I really liked this book mainly because it showed what could happen to people when they are taken away from their homes and forced to survive So here are some things that I think are really great about this bookIn this book there are some really interesting characters for example there is a kid named Ralph Ralph has a certain dieses that make him spas at times There are also some other kids like a kid named Jack Jack was on of the worriers in he tribe at the beginning and personally I think that Jack thinks that people wont like him unless he acts tuff for example at the beginning of the they were having a meeting a Jack went over and punched piggy in the gut and made his glasses fall off and they broke but neither of these characters are my favorite my favorite character would have to be Piggy because he is really the smarter group member Piggy didnt have a lot to offer except for his brains because he had asthma so he didnt have the ability to hunt with the others to gather wood with the others and sometimes to even build cover with the others Piggy is the person in the group that really gave advice to Ralph and presented ideas to help out the beginning tribeIn this book there are a lot of parts with very interesting uses of words My favorite quote is Kill the pig Cut her throat Spill her blood I think that this quote is my favorite because it shows the kids going from regular human beings to barbarians when I say barbarians I mean when a human being is starting to starve then those people start to revert to the survival instinct Those kids would do almost anything to survive Before this happened those kids might have never thought that
