For most of the soccer fans around the world the Confederations Cup Final is just like a dream It is not just a game for a trophy it is a battle between the history and the present in which the five time world cup winner Brazil will face the most dominant squad in the present Spain Unquestionably these two teams have enough merit to be playing on June 30th The Samba Kings playing as the host country had also a pretty easy first round Initially they faced Japan beating the Asian team by a 3 to 0 score it showed to skeptics the talent and current level of Brazil The June 19th Brazil eliminated Mexico from the tournament defeating the represents of CONCACAF 2 to 0 The Seleo hold the first place of the group in a battle of titans when they beat Italians for 4 goals to 2The capacities showed by Brazilians in the first games made them favorites over Uruguay to win the semi-final match With everything against them even the fact that Uruguay has not defeated Brazil in 20 years La Celeste played in an above-average level which made Brazilians work harder that they though before the game The game was tied by just 1 goal since the 48 minute but in the last part of the 2nd half The Seleo began to attack until the 86 minute when Paulinho headed home Neymars excellent corner at the far post giving to Brazil the pass to the Final On the other hand the Spanish squad won the ticket to play the Confederations Cup twice because they are the current World and Europe champions La Roja how they are called qualified to the semi-finals occupying the top of the Group B In the first test they beat Uruguay 2-1 in a game controlled by the Iberians Pursuing this further they destroyed Tahiti by a score of 10 to 0 breaking a record
